The Gràcia neighborhood was an independent town until the end of the 19th century. You can still fill it in its streets nowadays, because it is still a small and closed community.
It is an area with a wide range of artists, bohemians with a diversity of races and for this reason it has a large concentration of international restaurants.
The most emblematic place in this neighborhood is La Plaça de Sol, full of original bars and terraces and even many couples come here to get married. However, apart from its modern nature, Gràcia is a neighborhood full of traditions with many elderly inhabitants. This fact creates an unusual and surprising mix makes it a special place to live.
